Forsooth, say I, good day everyone, I suggesteth we add new LR, Medieval Mode!


Similar to that of Rapid Rockets Day or Market Garden Day, everyone is stripped to melee and the round becomes just a Free for All fight!

this would actually be undeniably the best lr for prisoners cuz they're always set to melee
 
Seems pretty fun to me, but would it activate demoknight charge for reds or at least deactivate charge for blues?
 
I know that in vsh servers there is a rtd called "Medieval" which makes you melee only but gives you a speed boost until it is over. So maybe we could also implement a speed boost with this lr also?

I personally think this is a good idea and in fact should replace the HHH lr, if for no other reason than so my ears don't bleed from the extremely loud sound effects that the HHH lr has.

If this isn't going to function like medieval mode where certain weapons are allowed. Like the huntsman and the crossbow. I suggest renaming melee massacre instead to prevent any confusion when picking the LR.

Also you forgot to make votes public doofus. You're gonna have to redo the poll, so I'd suggest just taking in any criticisms first before redoing the poll

What are you talking about? Since when does that even matter if votes are public or not? It’s already at 20 yes’s i don’t see how why this would matter whatsoever?
 
Normally it does matter to evaluate the votes if they are hotly contested, poll wont be redone because its a clear landslide, but please make sure to keep votes public next time x)

Also after speaking with semi, like to point out blue crits would be disabled so it isn’t just one demoman running thru and one-tapping everyone in 5 seconds. please re-vote to reflect you’re new answer after seeing this, k thanks ima go cry now.

Could this be turned into minicrits? Because blus would get MAULED even with charges etc.
 
Or on a different note, will this be FFA or RvB?
